Continuing the cognitive conversation after World of Watson

After attending IBM World of Watson in Las Vegas as both an IBM Futurist and digital host, I’m excited to share my thoughts and takeaways from the four-day event.

As you’ll see in the video I recorded prior to jumping on the plane, I had a couple concerns and a few exciting takeaways:

  • What will the mass rollout of Watson look like?
  • Where does the buzz around IoT, big data, and cloud fit into cognitive computing?
  • How can we simplify the cognitive computing conversation?
  • Will we see examples of cognitive solutions being used in the world today?

As you heard in the video, all these questions were answered. In future blog posts, I will break down these topics and more, as I hope to do my best at translating the geek speak for you, the IBM Think Marketing community.
